It's a tribute to Led Zepp's famous song Stairway to heaven and as they say it doesn't sound like the original.

Tenacious D tries hard to be funny and that is probably why they are at the limit of the vulgar (specially thinking of their "classico")

Hahaha Jack Black is always funny. There are lots of songs on the album where he makes funny voices.

I really like "Things I want" from Sum 41 and Tenacous D. That's a must listen to. The lyrics are so funny, you will piss yourself laughing.
